objective:
use curiosity to invent, explore, and inhabit imaginary worlds—strengthening empathy, perspective-shifting, and creative inquiry.
instructions:
- introduce the prompt: imagine you’ve just received a postcard from a world no one has ever heard of.
- describe a made-up place, such as:
- a city where people speak only in dance
- a desert where books grow on trees
- an island run entirely by children
- a sky village where memories are traded like currency
- ask each person to take turns describing the place in more detail—its logic, beauty, rules, or daily life.
- now, ask your buddy: what question would you ask someone who lives there?
- once the question is asked, respond in character—as if you live in that world, using its unique logic, values, and voice.
optional twist:
build on each other’s worlds, forming a connected galaxy of imagined realities. close by reflecting on:
- how it felt to explore a world through someone else’s imagination
- what surprised you
- what insights about real-world perspectives emerged through play
