objective:

quickly cultivate a questioning mindset by generating as many insightful questions as possible about a given business problem, encouraging deeper exploration before jumping to solutions.

instructions:

1. set the scene
   1. introduce the idea that great business decisions start with great questions. “today, we’re exercising our curiosity and critical thinking muscles by asking as many questions as possible—without jumping to answers.”
   2. assign each group (3–4 participants) a scenario or prompt (see list below).
2. question storm
   1. give teams flip-charts and markers
   2. set a timer for 5 minutes
   3. each group writes down as many questions as possible about their prompt
   4. encourage questions that go beyond the obvious; no filtering or discussion, just pure question generation
3. review and highlight
   1. teams read their lists
   2. choose one question that feels most thought-provoking, urgent, or surprising
   3. circle it or write it at the top of their chart
4. share back
   1. each group shares their top question
   2. facilitator clusters or maps themes that emerge
